Let me ask you. Do you really need more Twitter followers? Or do you just need to use Twitter more effectively?
Yes, I'm a blogger, but I don't use or like Twitter.
This is unfortunate. Twitter has a massive audience. And what sets Twitter apart from Facebook is that you have an endless amount of potential readers from Twitter. Facebook consists of family, friends, and co-workers, who may not necessarily share an interest in your blog.
I can personally testify that I get less than one pageview per week from the RSS feed of Source Blogger to my Facebook account. For all I know, my network on Facebook may have me on ignore!
Where I do generate a lot of traffic is from the Source Blogger Fan Page and from Facebook Search.
You don't have to be a "Twitterholic" to interface your blog with Twitter. I wish I had more time to interact with other bloggers, internet marketers, and other social media types on Twitter. But, I don't. Fortunately, Source Blogger makes it easy for you.

The Power of Twitter
While a generation of web users has migrated from MySpace to other sources of social media like Twitter, the results have been astounding. (See the Alexa traffic chart above.)
Looking through my traffic data and (Google) Analytics, it suddenly dawned on me that I was not using Twitter as effectively as other bloggers.
Twitter: DoFollow or NoFollow?
Unfortunately, links you post on Twitter, including links in your bio, are automatically 'NoFollow'.
Wait a minute. All hope is not lost.
Search engines do index Twitter tweets!
Search Engine Optimization and Twitter
Is this even possible? Yes. Here's how:
By including relevant keywords within your title on your status pages.
In addition to showing up in search engines, when you include keywords in the titles of your status pages, you also become more visible through Twitter’s own search interface, as well as the many search sites out there that search through Twitter posts and tweets for certain keywords – like this:

Do yourself (and your blog) a favor. Investigate the possibilities.
